For Those who Feel Disconnected from Love

The best thing about strengthening our own capacity for compassion is it helps us support and strengthen those who struggle to do the same. An inability to see and relieve the suffering of others is suffering itself:

I practice compassion for those who feel disconnected from love
With compassion, I free them from suffering
with compassion, I help them find peace and feel safe in this world
With compassion, I create contentment in their lives
With compassion, I inspire them to flourish

With patience and good humour, I welcome the imperfections of those who feel disconnected from love
With sympathy, I feel for their suffering
With empathy, I mind what their feeling and try to understand why

For those who feel disconnected from love, I seek wisdom
I nurture a broad perspective of them
I foster gratefulness for them
And I acknowledge that suffering and difficulties are part of their lives

Living in everyone are all the feelings and capacities described in this practice. By exemplifying them, we help those who forget reconnect with the feelings😄
